The 21st Century CCLC After School Program provides 3 hours of tutoring to kids that are having difficulty performing academically in the classroom. We help the students with their homework in the areas of math, science, reading, and social studies. This year we have 42 students enrolled in the 21st century program. We also have organizations such as the Kentucky State Police, the Knott County Extension Office, Fire and Rescue, Department of Fish and Wildlife, art classes, and performing arts centers coming into the school to work with our students. We also having counselor who works with these students on counseling, respect, getting along with others, and anger management. This program is making a difference by improving their grades as well as their homework performance.
